My wife and I had given up on TV Channel 19.2 Tulsa Oklahoma months ago when the owner moved it from Tulsa to Okmulgee Oklahoma for the broadcast tower. Before the move, we enjoyed ThisTV programming and the move did not allow us to get any reception.
We finally got the channel to show up on one tuner but it was not viewable. On another tuner, we could not get any signal to register or add to the channel sellection at all. After much discussion with a technical representative, he explained that the hilly terrain between us in Sand Springs and Okmulgee, not the power, was the problem. I find it hard to understand and wonder if the a boost in power would not improve the reception.
Almost 6 months later we happen to update our channels on the tuners and we discovered we could get the channel. It was very weak but we could actually pick up on programming we had missed and were glad to see better reception. The channel goes in and out at times but we can get it clear about 50% of the time.
We are wondering is they finnally boosted the signal or have they done something to relay it better to our location on occasion somehow. Is there any hope that they will improve the channel somehow so we can get it like the other channels locally.
I tried to leave a note on their contact form at http://tulsa.thistv.com/browse/thisfaq 6 times. Each time I get the message "Sorry there was an error with your submission, please try again later." It also will not allow me to finish my note and stops allowing me to enter text before I am finished.
I want feedback from the station on this or enough other people to contact them to encourage them to solve the reception problem and let us know what is going on to improve their reception.
